"thank you for meeting with me. the fact that you're lying down on this couch means that we're past the hardest part. now tell me, what brings you here today? what is currently bothering you?"
"alright and how has this problem/these problems affected you in life? how have you changed as a person?"
"mmmm. i understand. now, could you tell me a little bit about your life? your childhood? things like that. please remember, everything you tell me is confidential."
"and tell me now, what is the biggest regret of your life?"
"that's a shame. now tell me the best thing that has ever happened to you."
"that sounds quite lovely. seeing as we're now on the topic of love -- are you seeing somebody? and is it love? if not, have you ever been in love and with who? what's your general opinion on love?"
"okay, i'm starting to understand you better but i'd like to know how you feel about yourself. are there any insecurities you have?"
"now describe how you see yourself personality wise and then tell me how others perceive you."
"tell me a secret."
"i know this might seem a little odd but i'd like to ask you about your drug habits. it's crucial in me decoding you as a person."
"oh no. it looks like we're running out of time. any last words?"

hi, my name is DEEJ, and i am EIGHTEEN. i've been roleplaying for YRS and i also play NOOO on dressed to digress. i like pudding.
Surprisingly, cash felt positive after his little talk with lauren. he didn't really know what to expect with telling her that he had moved to la, they had been exchanging ims every once in a while but that's nothing serious. going into the conversation he wasn't sure about how she would feel about him being there or even if she would care. cash even put off telling her for a couple of days after the move in because of the uncertainty. sure, he moved to la for an medical internship opportunity, being the intelligent guy that he is, but yeah, in the back of his mind he was moving there to be closer to her. i guess you could say he was dissatisfied with the way things had to end between them. he didn't even consider the fact that she might not even be interested in him anymore, she may have moved on, or even might have a boyfriend already. who the hell knows anymore. he saw the opportunity and before he knew it he was on a plane and he's now here to stay. he was nervous about the whole thing to begin with, but california couldn't be all that bad.
If anything, he was more excited than nervous about seeing her again. It had only been a couple months since he last saw her way back in chicago, but it felt longer and of course the distance made a difference. he was curious to see how much different she looked than the mental picture she had stuck in her head. cash's appearance on the other had had only changed slightly, his hair grew more and he has a little more facial hair than she would remember, but other than that nothing's really changed. he was more worried about their friendship and where exactly it stood right now. the only reason cash felt they broke up was because of the miles between them. he moved away to north carolina and she was going all the way to the other side of the country. and long distance relationships are the worst so they decided to just end it. ever since, they've been barely keeping their friendship a blip on the radar with a few ims here and there. but now obviously things are different and cash isn't exactly so far seperated from lauren. so excuse him if he's all smiles, atleast for the first couple of minutes within seeing her.
Now here he was standing in front of her door. the two had agreed to meet up and hang out and catch up on things. at this point and time he was feeling a rush of different emotions right now, he probably couldn't describe them. he tried wiping the obviously stupid grin off of his face before pushing the doorbell. cash had been attempting to play it cool since the car ride over to lauren's place. but he was feeling too anxious about the whole thing to contain himself. it had been a long while since they had just sat down together without having to dwell over the fact that they were seperating soon. cash had been pretty upset over the whole thing for long while afterward, but eventually he pulled himself through it putting the past in the past. cash moved to north carolina, made friends, partied and had a number of fun moments to mask the seperation. he figured that he would just have to get over her because the chances were slim that he would probably ever see her again. atleast, that's what he thought until now. now he's in front of her door anxiously awaiting to see her, as if today was his first time.
He didn't know what it was about lauren that made him this way. they had a great relationship but fact of the matter is that they weren't even together for that long. they were friends for some time, but their relationship was probably two months if not less, before she moved away. not too much time for a actual relationship to grow, if you catch on. maybe it was the times they shared that cash loved. he liked spending time with her and doing little things like walk or sitting around doing whatever, probably because he was a boring, simple guy. or maybe he just really, really liked her and felt upset about their time being cut short. whatever the reason he couldn't help let that grin creep back up on his face when he saw lauren open the door.
Seeing her again brought back memories from before. of course, she looked just as he remembered only better. "Hey you" he greeted in return with a smile as he wrapped his arms around her. it felt good to hug her again, and the hug was all the confirmation he needed, to know that this was real and he actually was standing in front of her. cash walked in behind her and into the living room, giving the place a once over before turning to her to do the same. she really did look amazing, and being away made cash appreciate that more. "nah, i'm fine" he laughed when she offered him food. "better now." he started with a smile. thank you. you look amazing too. just like i remembered." he finished, taking a seat on the couch.
